“MOULIN ROUGE MIDNITE SHOW” ASKS COSTUME CONTEST WINNERS TO ‘DUKE’ IT OUT FOR TRIPS AND PRIZES

SANTA MONICA…This Friday night, Mann’s Criterion 6 theatre on the Third Street Promenade plays host to the final “MOULIN ROUGE Midnite Show” costume contest, where lucky audience members will compete for a multitude of prizes, including a trip for two to Hawaii and a weekend in Cabo San Lucas. Previous week’s costume contest winners are being asked back to don their turn-of-the-century apparel once again and be judged by an audience of their peers.

Since March, devotees have been lining up to experience the Oscar®-winning musical every Friday at midnight coming from all over the southland and even as far away as Germany! Each and every Friday night show boasts a trivia contest and raffle for prizes, including dinners at Border Grill and Buca di Beppo on the Promenade, free coffee drinks courtesy of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and movie passes to Mann Theatres own VIP Lounge at the Chinese 6-Plex at Hollywood & Highland.

This Friday’s festivities will be presided over by the fabulous Bridgette of Madison County who single-handedly led the movement to bring MOULIN ROUGE back to theatres earlier this year and is one the subjects in AMC’s new documentary “Gay Hollywood” airing on that channel in August.
