Carmen Electra Signs on to Beverly Hills Film Studio’s Romantic Comedy, Dirty Love

BEVERLY HILLS, CA September 2, 2004 -- Electra, who has recently starred in movies Starsky and Hutch (2004) and Searching for Bobby De Niro (2005) is set to team up with Jenny McCarthy and a growing list of recognized names in the romantic comedy Dirty Love. Electra will take the role of the sexy and independent character Michelle in the film.

Joining McCarthy and Electra will be members of the band Sum 41, including Deryck Whibley, who will play Electra's love interest. Also joining the cast is heartthrob actor Victor Webster, who will play McCarthy’s scoundrel ex-boyfriend. Webster is best known as a star of Days of Our Lives and feature film The Chippendale Murders. Also signed is actor Lochlyn Munro, co-star of 2004 summer smash, White Chicks.

Producers Kimberley Kates & BJ Davis are delighted that Beverly Hills Film Studios Inc. has assembled such a comprehensive list of stars for Dirty Love.

Accompanying star names on the Dirty Love feature will be sponsorship from Pony Shoes and women’s fashion label XOXO. Both Pony and XOXO will provide product for Dirty Love and assist with P & A after production.

Dirty Love is being helmed by John Asher (Miramax's Diamonds, Thank Heaven, Going to California). The script was penned by McCarthy.
